The band swept every caption at Lakeside on Saturday, finishing with a 92.4 — the program's highest early-season score in a decade.
Judges singled out the brass balance in the third movement and the color guard's work through the closer. Percussion took the Outstanding Percussion award for the second year running.

This year's production is built around the idea of a horizon that keeps moving away from you. The drill uses a receding grid that collapses into a single point at the end of the closer.
Music is an original commission with additional arrangements by the staff. Props go into build the second week of July.
